I sincerly hope everyone who's reading this has heard of the game "Simon Says." If not, here's the rules:
One person tells a group of people what to do, but the catch is, they're only allowed to do whatever "Simon" says. The players stand in a line and whenever the game leader says "Simon says..." and an action, everyone has to do that. Failure to follow Simon's directions or doing something that Simon didn't say means you're out. The winner is the last person left.
Note that while the protagonists are in France, they're still British soldiers (I'll probably feature some French later on), so any "surrender-monkey" humor isn't really applicable. The officer's cap insignia doesn't represent any real insignia, although it is loosely based on that of the medical staff. |
