4th of July, 2008

I actually updated this year! =D

This, however, is not because I have access to a computer with a better graphics program than paint.net, but because I finished this particularly patriotic picture for the 4th last year, meaning in a day or two, we'll all be returning to indefinite-hiatus-land on the can't-update-because-my-computer-is-broke-bus sitting next to Mr. Bank-account-too-empty-to-buy-a-new-one.

Which doesn't mean I haven't been drawing. I bought some pens and have been diligently scanning black and white drawings along with a spiffy new avatar that plays on my German citizenship and WWI royalty. I may add it to the gallery soon, but unfortunately, this good news means nothing for Scabfields, as despite my drawing skills are improving, I can't access such silly things as fonts that aren't Times New Roman or Comic Sans, meaning that even if I used the incredibly tedious means that Paint.net provides to duplicate coloring and shading found in Scabfields, the text would look like utter crap. Which is why I won't be doing it.
